Grounded in isiNtu, the Indigenous philosophy of personhood, relationships and harmonious living, we bring together ancestral knowledge, contemporary health science and evidence-informed practice. Health, in this understanding, extends beyond the absence of disease. It embraces physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social and environmental wellbeing, recognising the interconnected relationships between people, culture, land and nature.

Our Values
Our Origins
Camagu began in the Eastern Cape during the COVID-19 pandemic, when isolation from state healthcare supply chains left rural communities relying almost entirely on traditional practitioners. Field work with practitioners during this period led to an informal mutual-care network, coordinated through WhatsApp groups, connecting healers, families and communities when no other coordination existed.
That network, built by practitioners for practitioners under real pressure, became the foundation for what Camagu is today: a formal, practitioner-owned system built on relationships and coordination that already worked, strengthened rather than replaced.
How We Create Value
The Camagu Care System integrates three platforms, Camagu Health, Camagu Medicine and Camagu School, connected by two enterprise layers, Tolo+ and Camagu Pathways, into one coordinated health model.
